We at Wild Oats Bakery & Café are committed to giving back to our community through donations to the arts, education, school sports and the environment, as well as other non-profit groups dedicated to community health and well-being in the Midcoast area.
Due to the large number of requests we receive, we must ask that you follow these guidelines in order to be considered for donation:
- All solicitations must be made in person (In order to ensure that donations are local, we will not consider any solicitations made by phone, mail or email.)
- All solicitiations must be made at least 3 weeks in advance
- All solicitations must be accompanied by our Donation Application
- Please restrict your requests to one donation per year per organization
Applications for donation are evaluated about every two weeks. Your application will be processed within two weeks from the date of submission. All material will be reviewed thoroughly and we will contact you
only if we are able to participate. If you have not been contacted within two weeks, you may reapply at a later date.
Applications may be turned down if we have exceeded our donation budget for a particular month, or if we have donated to your organization or a similar organization in the past year. We give preference to organizations and individuals that are familiar to us.
